1.6 million made, and still really good parts supply. That's one of the things that drew me to it, I'm not a huge fan of hunting for parts.

About an hour north of London? Just googled it and that's the place! We are headed over next year for their wedding along with a few side trips.

Welcome to the "Morris Side"... :encouragement: I think you'll really enjoy driving a Morris Saloon. The 4 door versions have a shorter front door, so it requires a little more "flexibility" getting in and out, but a piece of cake if you're used to a Bugeye... :excitement:

Thanks, I'm really excited for it. Two of my good friends have volunteered to come along on the road trip, so we'll have a fun guy's weekend soon.

Funny to think of a Morris Minor as the big, comfy touring car. When the other car is a Bugeye, though... :grin:
 
Interesting list of cars. When I heard 25, I assumed it was 25 LBCs or other vintage vehicles. I've owned 14 different cars of all types since 1987. Other than the Sprite, the only other truly "interesting" cars were my 1985 FJ60 LandCruiser and a 1981 Chevrolet Malibu Coupe that was a former police car, so it had all the nice pursuit package add-ons, but in a coupe body.

I'm a little confused - just where is the Morris at?
I have a Friend (Yes - I actually have real Friends),who
has a Morris conv.
"Tall Dave" is like 6'10",& tells me he can fit in a Morris.
He bought a Minor Convertible,& has a ton of extra parts for sale.

I've had an odd mix of classics, motorcycles, 4x4s, and small hatchbacks (have to fit that upright bass). I've come close to buying a FJ60 on a couple occasions, neat trucks.

My wife's on #5. The wife of one of my coworkers (who's about 10 years older than I am) is on #2. I've got them on quantity, if nothing else. :grin:

The car is up in Tacoma, WA. Will be picking it up in the next week. I will be in touch once I have the car in hand and can sort out what I might need.
 
Drew, I'm planning on coming through SLC in September,with a half emptyPenske truck,so maybe I could deliver some parts. - Doug
 
Very quick update. The car is home safe in my shop after a 3-day trip with a friend and his truck and trailer. Good, solid car with some nice documentation. Also an decently built 1275, 5-speed, and front disc brakes.

If all goes well I'll have it there. Got it inspected last night right after we unloaded it, so I just need to get down to the DMV and get it registered (easy to do at the DMV over in Heber). Will be fun to surprise folks. :grin:

Nice car Drew! I always liked those little hard tops, reminds me a little of the VW Super bug I had and drove everywhere. Enjoy it, as I'm sure you will. :encouragement: PJ
