When I was a kid the Smothers Brothers came to my summer camp and entertained the kids. I'll bet they were about eighteen years old.

Not bad race car drivers either.... Just don't bother them while they're at the track. Paul Numan was the same way. You can talk cars/racing all day, but don't bring up movies, or ask for an autograph.

Somewhere in the hovel I have photos of PLN and team in their "crew" shirts. Cartoon drawings of nekkid people front and back. Discouraged the "press" from using any images for publication.

BTW, I have several Smothers Brothers records in my collection. I love their stuff. "Oh Yea?!" "Mom always liked you best!"

A simpler time... and to think they gave the CBS censors a fit.
I nearly wore out one of their LPs.

I have a couple DVD sets of the 60s show I drag out every now and then. Remember it from when I was a kid.

And of course Tom should know by now that of course moms like the younger kids better. We first born are the ones our parents had to experiment on to see if they wanted kids....

I went to a Smothers Brothers concert a few years ago in Mesa, Arizona. As long as they brought up the Nixon/ Johnson material the audience laughed. Not so much when they treated George W. the same way. We had become our parents.
