Ate about 2 pounds of the little critters last night, all the while listening to a great local jazz band. Boat club had a charity dinner, shrimp and crawfish boil. Don't know how much there was but 200 people couldn't consume all of them. And no, they were not local mud bugs even though we have enough loose water around that they might be some day soon. Found a guy who gets truck shipments from N.O. often and he got them for us. Buying local they are just crazy overpriced. Life is good.

Paging Mickey in 3, 2, 1….

Little slow on the uptake - we're playing with the grandkids today.

Good score, Bayless, but you're about 8 lbs. shy of a ~proper~ meal!

Trust you also had the requisite red potatoes and corn boiled with the little critters.

You should have invited me Bayless, I'd have helped you eat some.

Sometimes I think your avatar is actually a selfie!

Did have red potatoes and corn. Apparently the guy who did it knows his stuff.Think he came originally from Metarie (sp). Sorry Walter. For your own safety, I did not want you to try getting here in that rain storm. It's less than mile drive for me and I almost backed out. Visibility was about 1509 yards at 6:00 pm. Major art festival this weekend in the Paseo district too. Gotta feel for those poor artists.
