A few new parts for my new-parts shelves!

Got a box in today with parts from Gerard -- resleeved master cylinder, and all the bits for the 5-speed conversion! I have to say, the quality of the parts is very high, nicely machined. Now I just need the rest of the car so I can install them.

So much still to do (pretty much everything, really) but at least there are a few completed bits on the shelf.

Hi Drew,

Glad to hear you are pleased with everything. Since it's going to be a wile before that flywheel gets in stalled, you should spray the surface with WD40 or something to keep the surface from oxidizing. You could also cover it in Saran Wrap or some Glad Press'n Seal. The stuff sticks well to any dry surface.

The more you get on those shelves, the more you'll be motivated to get it done, so keep up the good work...

I love that press n seal stuff. I use it and a mist of machine oil on all sorts of stuff that I store.

Thanks for the storage tips. Will do so shortly.

I wish I could be that organized in the garage. I'd probably be able to get things done in half the time because I lose so much time looking for the right tool or right part "I just set it down right there..."
