How this car got to a small auto museum in Salamanca Spain is another question all together.
But this big roadster did sport a Lea-Francis British power plant (among others).
and was produced (for a short time) by a guy who prided himself on being "crazy".

BTW: I'd show the front & side, but the name is too prominent, so you will have to make do.

Right you are.(except for GregW: technically speaking , "Phil" would be re-naming the Muntz Jet, not naming it)
there were only about 400 made during the early 50's, of which approx 49 remain.
surprising that this little museum has one, and a few other gems as well.

Muntz - Mad Man Muntz

I'd have a lot of trouble telling between a Muntz Jet and the Kurtis Sport from that angle. Looking at internet photos, I'd think the little piece of trim above the bumper would be a determinant, but maybe not.

Tiger,

you have a very good eye: according to Wikipedia, Kurtis assisted in the design of the Muntz Jet, after his own venture went belly up.

BTW: Salamanca had a nice example of an Alpine.
