Shifts summer daylight to evening hours when I'm more likely to use them (I ain't retired).
(we were out at a party with a bunch of church friends last night and one of the guys said he heard someone say on the radio that Daylight Savings was good because we'd have more daylight hours to melt all this snow!) :friendly_wink:
Grumble grumble grumble......least favorite Monday of the whole year. And we're on overtime right now. I've never been much of a morning person. This is the first job I've had where we started before 8. Regularly we start at 7. On overtime we start at 6. So my body will be thinking I'm getting up at 3:30 tomorrow. I'll be at work for 2 hours before the sun is up.
Don't get me wrong. I know I have a good job. especially in my area. Big layoffs going on all around me, and we're trying to keep up with our work load. I'm just sayin.... I ain't no morning person. Gimmie my coffee!
I want to institute a "dawn break" at work. Take 10 minutes as the sun is coming over the hill on the other side of the valley and go watch it, and at least get that pleasure out of being up that early. I know a couple of others that would join me.
HAHAHAHA! I was sitting here for about 10 seconds going "What the heck does garlic have to do with sunrise?...." I'm a bit slow today.... Maybe an hour behind.
