What do you do with a 115ft deep end?
 
I wondered the same thing (since there is no aquatic life or any other need). So maybe it's about just setting records. I might have thought that this would require more engineering (and complexity). Gads, just think of all the pool filtering equipment.

Did you see in the last pic that it is "elevated" (not on the group) at one end facing the sea?!

They might use it for scuba diving.
 
Can't imagine diving that deep with nothing to look it, but who knows.
 
I'm not a diver but don't you start having to worry about decompresion if you go that deep?

Only if you stay down for more than, say, 15 minutes. Generally, most SCUBA divers don't go that deep.
