I think the motor weighs about 250, the tranny about 75, maybe a little less, don't know about the diff, I have a triumph TR6 diff in the garage and it is quite heavy, but it is bigger than a midget diff, maybe 50 points or so. The tranny and diff are ballpark, the motor is from web sources.
 
Then a 1275 in a bathtub should run mid 13's in the quarter mile with me in it.

No, the Crosley thing got me wanting one of those motors. Then I wondered what I can do with only 26hp. Then I thought that I have onna these https://richmond-tx.showmethead.com/art-antiques/2501870s-galvanized-adult-bath-tub_18569216.html and it would make a cool ratrod type thing. Then I got to thinking, why buy a motor when I have a complete 1275 running gear already. Then I wondered how fast I would be going before I got killed inna thing. :laugh:

My Dad was always into Crosleys. They were then main motor for the TQ midget guys for at least 20 years. I have no idea what the hp is here, but the thing SCREAMS.

My buddy owned a junkyard and someone scrapped a steel display coffin that we talked about rodding. Kelly didn't want it at the house otherwise it'd be here now.
