I have 280 photos in Flicker. I would like to move, download or copy them to a folder in my pictures folder. How can I do this? I've tried everything I can think of, but no success. PJ

google it - there seem to be a number of third party utilities that will allow you to do this

Thanks JP I'll give it a try. PJ

Open flikr click on share, click in html, copy the window, click on from URL window on forum edit toolbar, paste into insert window image. It will look something like this:

<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/mrichlen/1702395756" title="Humber by MRichlen, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2301/1702395756_7402db46d4_z.jpg" width="640" height="481" alt="Humber"></a>

Erase everything previous to and including the quotation marks right after src=. Erase everything after and including the quotation marks after jpg. Double click on resulting image to choose size. That's how I do it, what a pain.

hmmm - nice car. Pure conjecture of course, but I'm betting that's a late 1962 or early 1963 Humber Super Snipe Series IV. Inline L-head six, twin carbs, power steering, power brakes, two-speed Borg-Warner DG automatic transmission, full leather upholstery, wool carpet throughout, full walnut paneling, even a sliding choke control on the dash. Top rated speed 100mph, 44 BHP, high torque at low revs, brightwork across the bend of the boot lid, open/close rear quarter lights, front disk brakes, etc.

Just guessing of course. Jeez - who'd ever want one of those ...

Where'd you see it?

Photo taken at ECAIP English Car Affair In the Park, Fort Rodd near Victoria BC. A lot of Brit Sedans at friends to the north car shows.

I know the question was about flickr, but I use photobucket, in addition to being free and easy, it offers you just have to tap on the appropriate link it creates for you, then copy the link into your forum post and the picture appears like magic, no editing, and even a caveman like me can do it.

Another good reason I use Photobucket. One click "download album". Same for download image: right click, choose Save Image.
