Nor'easter coming through, first real snow of the season, police are reporting an accident every three minutes. My daughter got sent home from work - and in the parking lot I saw this - Oops (note to self: no shortcuts!!)

and just around the corner an Audi, front wheels on one side of the parking curb, rear on the other. Figured it would be poor form to take a pic as the owner was still in the car - waiting to be lifted off no doubt.

We sent it up there. Black ice then almost 3 inches of rain on Monday. Drizzle still hanging around here.

It's going to be almost 70 all weekend long here.

We had a cold spell in November as well as an early snow, the snow stuck around for some time, which is very unusual for November snow around here, anyway, I put the Winter tires on my daily driver early because of this, and since then it has been slightly warmer than normal for the most part and dry as a bone. I like snow, I even like driving in snow, not in traffic with other idiots around me, but controlled slides, spinning the wheels a little, etc, can be fun. Course I hate the havoc it wreaks on our cars.

Just under an inch (2 cm) here. But it's cold and snow keeps refreezing at night.

I have to keep the wipers on the "outside" cars at attention.

I don't miss that stuff one bit. And feel for those of you who must endure it.

thanks a heap :p

I have to reluctantly admit that the world looks lovely out our back window, but, weather is warming up over the weekend - hurray!

We got lucky. Freak unexpected flurries -- hmm, more than flurries -- Friday which fortunately didn't stick. I'm still on summer tires on the new Boxster and I was hoping to put until the weekend before Christmas to install the winter tires/wheels I bought. looks like I'll make it.

has been mild here the past few days - most of the snow has melted, hurray! sadly it means I have to get out and get a fence fixed this afternoon.
