Goodwood Revival - Streaming Video

Thanks!

Yesterday I enjoyed a glorious day at Goodwood, with great racing and fantastic weather. I spent all of today watching it on the live stream, culminating in the excellent performance of the 100S finishing third in the Freddie March trophy.

For anyone thinking of visiting, you must plan for at least two days. It is now so big that if you spend your time looking around everything you will miss too many races. Enter into the spirit by dressing in period costume, I would say that at least 95% of the 50,000 daily spectators do this, resulting in what must be the world's largest fancy dress gathering. Great fun. The cars are pretty good too!

Derek,

I enjoyed the Goodwood races but missed the Freddie March trophy. I became aware of the feed on Saturday and watched for so long that my wife closed the door and went out on their own. I know she was mad at my non-participation but I wonder if she would fund my trip there when she wins the lottery?

Ray,

You should take your wife, she would love all the period fashion. Half of the crowd are ladies who really enjoy wearing the clothing from the 40s/50s and 60s. There is music and dancing from all those eras as well.
