Photobucket problem again!

Can anyone tell me why every time anything to do with a photobucket page pops up, it's there for about 4 seconds and the screen goes blank! I have tried everything I know and some things I don't, but nothing works. I've even re signed up, but that doesn't even work. I wouldn't care if I didn't have about 8 years of photos in there. Any ideas? No other program does this! PJ

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, Paul. I think they (Photobucket) are funding their site with popup ads that really slow things down.

Paul- If you ever get the site to work
I would take everything off and change companies

hmmm - I just logged in to my Photobucket account, no problems. I see my "library", folders, and photos. Looks like they've fixed the "download folder" feature too.

Tom

If it's a consistent problem, I would suggest trying a different internet browser. I've had problems loading videos in Firefox, for example, but they work just fine in Chrome until the problem resolves itself. You could also consider downloading a popup blocker for whichever browser you use.

whenever I have those type of issues, the first thing I do is clear out my cache & cookies - then I google the problem - which I just did and there seems to be some issues with firefox

Elva- when did you get into the Cortina's?

Switched to chrome and the account seems to work. PJ

We built the Mk1 Lotus in my videos and signature about 4 years ago, and just happen to be building a Mk2 GT for a customer at the moment. We got the Mk1 (not knowing it was a Lotus at the time) as a cool and relatively safe choice for me to start out in, and as a fun car for Dad and Tom Grudovich to drive.

My post was asking about Photobucket, not race cars, there's another place for that. Thank you.

I dropped Google/Chrome browser, since Google doesn't seem to have much interest in American traditions unless there's money in it. I won't go into it further so don't ask. But Firefox works with Photobucket very well, so I switched.

Don, I'm slowly changing over to Flicker/Yahoo. PJ

I have had both accounts for quite some time, but Flicker seems to have had less issues than Photobucket in the past. Just recently Pbucket has given me problems, but Ficker none. I'm not into Yahoo and all it's bells and whistles, but keep it just for the Flicker account. I've downloaded all my Pbucket photos, but for some reason they all come through in a very small format. Got to figure how to keep them in their original size. PJ

Would you be adverse to sharing the location of your account? I could try downloading a photo and see what happens. Just tried a download from my account and it ended up the original size.

Not a good idea since this is the world wide web. Thanks for the offer though. It'll work out in the end. PJ
