Have owned by Alpine since 2007. It is a driver but do show it on occasions. Love the Sunday drives with the British Car Club of New Hampshire. I live in Meredith NH. I am retired. My husband has 1964 Chevy II. We both are into old cars so it makes it nice.

Hi and welcome
Not many Sunbeam owners hang out here but we make the most of it! I met you at an Invasion a long time ago. Hope the Alpine is running well.

No I figured as much but thought it might be another way of contacting people. I do remember you too Eric...My car is giving me fits. I have had it since 2007 but have had to do little to it until last year other than the body. But last year the brake booster, whole front end redone by Randy Willet a neighbor of mine who restores sunbeam tigers and alpines. He is working on a tiger that was the 4th one off the line. Then clutch slave, this year redone the body (My son and husband), starter, clutch master cylinder, now the generator and it won't start so just ordered parts for the Flame thrower ignition system. Soooo soon it will be a new car. That is if the motor stays running. It has about 65,000 miles on her. I drive her usually all summer daily. But not this summer. I have even thought about selling her. But Randy thinks I will be buried with her. Perhaps. Oh well, she is 50 years old and believe me I know how it is to get old. I have a metal top for my car that my husband is working on. The glass is all there and the plexi back window. Needs to be painted and a headliner. Thought about selling it though. I really like the soft top. Oh well we will see. How is your car running. Where was the Sunbeam invasion or whatever they call it I forget...I would like to go...but can't get Alpine parts as easy as you can get Ford parts on a long trip. Ford motor parts they can go into a Napa and get most parts not an Alpine I have to order them. That is a disadvantage of having an Alpine instead of a Tiger. Oh well. Hope to see you again. Good luck. Beverly

Hi Beverly,

"Welcome" to the BCF.

If you have`nt as of yet; You should introduce Yourself & Your car to the "Other" Brit Car Forum & You just may find alot of help there in finding parts etc.

"Eric": Are you the same "Eric" who owned the "Small Mouth TR3" from G`ville?

Happy Motoring to All.

Russ

Beverly it was the Invasion at Hendersonville, NC a few years ago when you drove your Alpine there. If you live next to Randy he will get your car running well! There is no Invasion this year so everyone is going to the TE/AE United in Michigan this Sept. Russ I don't own a TR3. We live near Columbia. Eric

Hi Eric,

There`s another "EricG" who posts here very occassionally & lives in the "Greenville" area.

Were you at the "Scottish Games Car Show" @ Furman Univ. this yr?

Will you be attending "Eurofest" @ BMW in Greer, SC?

Regards, Russ
