Dash light bulbs

I took all the dash lights apart to clean them up. All but one had the screw in type bulb (that I have plenty of spares). That one is the twist lock type. Is there a place where you can still buy the screw in sockets? I'm not a purist, I'd just like them to all have the same bulb.

Thanks,

Mine came from a marine supply store. West Marine here, but any marine supply store (usually found near a big body of water) should have them.

Dan,

I saw that a while ago, thanks for the reminder. The price is now $2.39 for 5 feet and the invertor. Another option would be to use the LED strip lights which are also cheap now and run directly on 12VDC.

Radio shack used to stock screw in bulb sockets but I think they've gotten pretty much out of the parts business.

I will have to remember the marine supply places as a source for the bulbs (thanks Charlie!).

The last ones I bought I added as "filler" to an order I placed at Rock Auto but it looks like they must have been a closeout item as they are no longer listed. You can always order the bulbs from Britishwiring.com as their part CB987. There are lots of good electrical components at Britishwiring to justify placing an order.
