I don't park like the Camaro driver, but I sure know WHY they park that way. I can't tell you the number of dings, dents and scratches I've had on my cars from jerks who have absolutely no respect for anyone else's stuff but their own. They fling their doors into your car, rub their shopping carts against your pride and joy and apparently never taught their kids how to properly exit a vehicle without putting a football-size dent into the adjoining vehicle. And there's no generalizations that stick, could be a guy in a beat up old pick-up or a mom in a $100,000 Mercedes. There's a commercial about the way I park (forget who made it) Nice car's parked in the middle of nowhere all alone in the lot. An old sh#tbox belching smoke circles the car and pulls up about a 1/2" away from the nice car. Happened to my wife just last week. She has a new black Outback she's trying to keep pristine. Parked at the far end of the parking lot, all alone and miles away from the store entrance. When she comes out, there's an old pick-up so close to her she can barely squeeze into the driver's door. Rant over but my blood pressure just went up thinking about it!
