I am about to install a 1275 in my Bugeye. I am not sure of the condition but was told by the person I bought it from, 6 or 7 years ago that it runs fine, so will go with that for now. It also had a transmission attached. But before I install it, I have seperated the trans, to check condition of the clutch plate and the throwout bearing. As I pulled it apart, I noticed that the throwout bearing does not turn freely. Recalling many moons back, I think the throwout bearing should turn. AM I RIGHT ON THIS? Next I will make sure the clutch plate is not fused to the pressure plate. If I have to remove and replace the clutch plate, can I just make (turn) an alignment tool on my wood lathe? I can buy one, but just asking.
Thank you
