Thinking of a New Paint Job

Whoa - FAR OUT!

Groovy - and you would take the AC/Cobra? as is.

I would!!! Mehehehee! I can just see the Shelby snobs cringing now.

Reminds me of the BMW "Art Cars".

Or John Lennon's Rolls Royce

I think that's a plan ol' Ace, no sidepipes but it does have the 427 grill opening.
I'm pretty sure it's a Shelby. In reality most of the Cobras did not have side pipes. Most of the 289s had dual under-slung exhaust. The side pipes started mainly with the 289 S/C, and most of the 427s got them. same with the fender flares. Hood scoops (before the 427s) and roll bars were not standard equipment either.
Side by side, an AC Ace has a slightly stubbier nose. It had to be lengthened to fit the V8
That's what I get for working at a Superformance dealer......
GAD! now I'm soundin' like a Shelby snob!!! Quick! Somebody get me a 2CV!!!

Hey Rick, congratulations, you are my new muse! I have an old Chevelle fender that I've been wondering what I could do with it for my next piece.

Thanks!

(BTW, sealed the tree with that stuff. Worked well but I shoulda put it on a bit thinner..... I mean....uuuuum, it was a defective can knowingly sold by a careless manufacturer. :grin:smile:

Billy, for shame Mickey is a man of the cloth, I'm sure that young lady is very respectable. If she is a stripper she is probably just doing it to put herself through college. Whatever she does for a living, she certainly make a 2CV more interesting.

Check out the piano that Paul McCartney played at this year's Grammys. It was painted by the same artist that did the Cobra:

The piano Paul McCartney played during the Grammys might have looked familiar to Beatles fans.

What was up with the psychedelic piano Paul McCartney played?
Yes, Beatles fans, you may have recognized the rainbow-painted upright piano the Cute Beatle was playing. According to a tweet from the official Grammy account, it was the very piano used during the Beatles' 1967 "Magical Mystery Tour" era. We found out a little more: The piano is McCartney's own, and usually resides in his music room in London. It was painted by notable British artist Dudley Edwards,(pretty interesting link, worth clicking on - Rick) who lived with McCartney for six months in 1967 and also lived with Ringo Starr for a time. McCartney wrote "Getting Better" on the colorful piano, and once said, "Of course the way in which it was painted added to the fun of it all."

Was there supposed to be a 2CV in Mickey's photo?

I'm sure that young lady is very respectable. If she is a stripper she is probably just doing it to put herself through college.

And I'm a man of the street. You forget, I once worked for a strip club on Bourbon with alleged mafia ties, college wasn't anywhere near in the picture....cause I once thought the same thing too... (Helped a guy find his finger after it got bitten off and spit onna floor one night though.) No self respecting chick with legs that tone wears shoes like with that dress in public unless they are on the job or the hunt. I don't consider myself an expert at anything, however; I usually can spot one when I see one. That being said, ol' girl knows EXACTLY what she is doing...and so do you...

(Here's a fun fact though, most all of the strippers I worked with wore sweats during the day.)

It's there any more to the finger story Billy?
