Janet and I just had supper with Dale ("Dart") and Stephany as a precursor to the British car show tomorrow; enjoyed some bluegrass jamming afterwards.

Oh, and there's a certain lurker who's been registered here for a number of years but has yet to post, and he and his wife came by the cabin earlier today. You listening, Paul? :savewave: We've known each other a while now, and we've helped each other install/pull engines.

Once again, it is so great to hook up with folks after "meeting" them online. Thanks, Basil!

Very good! Have fun at the show. Too far "up there" for us.

Morning showers and overcast, but supposed to slack off shortly. Heading over to the show in a few...

If you get the chance before they leave, tell Dale and Stephany I said "hi". I hope to see them again this fall at Watkins. Very nice folks!
Super jealous about the jam session. I was lamenting to my friend at work yesterday I really wanted to find a group around here to play with. They exist, I just need to search them out.
Here's hoping the skies clear for your show!

Skies let out rain until about 1pm. Then did it again about 7pm. We absolutely second the meet & greet BCF’rs concept. Mickey & Janet worth whatever trip to be with. And Ben, see you at the Glen again! Adding to the fun of this trip, we ran the tail in order to avoid going back thru Pidgeon Forge. sure glad the Saab has power steering.

Ya didn't go in the Daimler?!?!

Ya didn't go in the Daimler?!?!

And I don't blame him! Rain, rain, rain! Pretty good turnout, regardless. I had to leave shortly after noon to get back to Clarksville - call from the realtor. The good news is that we have a fish on the line for the house here.

Dale - glad you got to do the Dragon. Much more fun than Sevierville and Pigeon Forge!

Amen to that, preacher. Doc, SP was registered and ready, I chickened out when we saw the forecasts. Will take it/us to Hot Springs AR British Car meet in 2 weeks on trailer. But...wish we'd had it for the tail!
