Hello,

I am sure this has probably been asked before, since pictures are now easier to post maybe there are some new ideas out there.

Looking for a cup/coffee holder for my BJ 8, would like it to be removable. Picture would be worth a thousand words for this.

Cheers Phil

Roger's car is always such a pleasure to look at and that video is so cool. All he needs now is:

The bulletproof screen:

Reversible license plate:

And machine guns:

An ejector seat would be nice too, and with a lot of Healeys they already come equipped with a smoke screen and oil slick :jester:

....and falling off parts are sure to give the chasers something to dodge!

great video, first time I have seen it. The cup holders are perfect

Seen this video before on Roger's BJ8- still amazed with the perfection and attention to detail. Mine looks like a barn find compared to his !
Regards,
Mike

I married my cup holder, she sits in the passenger seat. They can be tricky to install, but they come right out and don't alter the car permanently.

Hi Bill,

I did use the same type of cup holder you are using but, with all highly technical units, voice response occasionally stopped working and if you press the wrong button you are either left with no access or an inappropriate suggestion of where to put your cup. I prefer the simple and reliable out-of-site type Roger has installed.

All the best,
Ray (64BJ8P1)

You just TOO young to appreciate the better things in life.-Keoke

I have the same cup holder installed, only problem is the sun and moon must be aligned ,otherwise my hot coffee ends up on my lap.

Does anybody have a link to the compact coffee holder in the video, I have searched the internet but can't seem to find one

Thxs Phil

Here is a picture of a simple hoop I made for my cobra replica some time ago. I can look for some better pics. Basically it is a fabricated hoop that is fastened to the underside of the dash between some phenolic spacers, that can rotate out of sight when not in use.

I was going to find one of the cup holders Roger used, but even after fitting telescopic shock to the rear, I not really sure that even if the cup stays in the holder, that the coffee will stay in the cup...

thanks for all the posts. I ordered the exact model listed for 34.95 ebay, shipped to my door.
I agree very challenging drinking a coffee in a Healey, I think I better look for a infant sipping cup for the beverage and a bungie cord to hold it in.

Cheers Phil
