Going over Niagara Falls

That's a slippery slope.

I believe it!!! Even a few of the bigger Finger lakes are froze over. That's rare too! I gotta look it up but wasn't the last time the falls froze something like 1912?
~edit~
Nope... I'm a victim of internet nonsense. The falls freeze over pretty regularly. It only becomes national news when the media is bored.

Still pretty amazing when it does.

Too many have gone over the falls. Be the first to climb them.

Be kinda tough using the barrel method at this point! :highly_amused: PJ

When did they freeze last like this? Pretty with the colored lights on them. Only been there twice many years ago, in the Summer of course. Something everyone should see. I understand that they are being swamped with visitors viewing the frozen falls. PJ

Linda has a nephew that repelled down them. Legally.

He was employed by a company that was repairing and replacing the catch wire that is supposed to stop rocks from dislodging on the cliffs (and presumably, landing on The Maid of the Mist).
He had some great phtotos, but I don't have access to them

Previously, he taught hang gliding and free climbing.
He's currently working on a platform in the Indian Ocean where he dangles over the edge of the platform to repair wires, etc.

He likes heights.

We get lots of ice climbing here in the mountains of western Canada, water falls here freeze every winter... And if people can climb a mountain anywhere in the world they can climb a frozen Niagara Falls although I'm sure that would take awhile...
