Easiest way is to swap in a complete transmission with overdrive. Alternatively, the guy's existing XMSN could be rebuilt with an overdive-specific mainshaft, and gearbox to overdrive adapter plate, and of course, a complete overdrive.
Best recommendation is to get a complete overdrive trans.
