Only a few minutes into the video, I"m hooked. It's "like being there".

Question: is that 1980s music?

Bournemouth is a nice coastal town. Been there 2 times. It has a university and an orchestra(!).
Beaulieu isn't too far away (where one finds the National Motor Museum). I'll be there in early September.
I could live there. :)

Never been South of London, but maybe next time. Thanks Steve for posting that, brings back wonderful memories. Noticing the music, I dug out my stero head set, turned the power on and sat back and enjoyed the video and music. Steve is there a link to that where I could save it for future use. PJ
 
My computer does not have good speakers and could not be sure who was singing. Just remember Dion with the hit. Who was singing?

I posted it via YouTube, so if you look at the screen you will see "watch on YouTube", click on that then save the url that it takes you to.

Much of this music was popular in the early 80s, there were some cover versions of older songs and the third one in, "Marie, Marie was recorded by the British artist Shakin' Stevens at around this time. Not sure whether that was a cover or a song written in the older style, I suspect the latter. Rockabilly music was hot in the UK then, so it would have been played on the radio a lot.
