What is was, was football

Last night it wasn't!

No last night was a let down. I thought I was going to get to watch one of the all time great games, instead I got a blowout.

Depends on your perspective. I would have said (if I cared at all about professional sports) that it was one of the all-time great football games.
Blowouts can easily be described as "great" if you're looking at the team doing the blowing out.
We ran through four boxes of 12GA shells during and after.
Shot rained down on the countryside.

No wonder they lost, dude, you're not supposed to shoot at the opposing team....

I think we've gotten spoiled recently by some very close and very good Super Bowls over the last decade. There was a time when there was just blow out after blow out, particularly when Buffalo or Denver were in the Super Bowl (late 80s Denver, not when Elway finally won it in '98 & '99). Still, Denver looked completely shell-shocked almost from the get-go.

As a Redskin fan, I was amazed at the level of play of Seattle's defense. We haven't seen anything like that in D.C. for almost 30 years.

I believe the term would be "blowout"...

OH you so right Mickey :applause:

AND You are spot on:
They stopped the Pass.
They stopped the run
They stopped Billichk
They stopped Manning
They Blew the Broncos away---:encouragement:

So you still don't care about sports, you got a winner so you do care or you just like to shoot em up.:playful:

Got THAT right!

Bruno Mars is one of the very few current pop music artists that actually possesses something that used to be mandatory: actual musical talent. No auto-tune for him!

Guys like Bieber and Chris Brown ought to tongue-kiss the guy who developed the auto-tune, because without it, neither would have anything even closely resembling a career.

EEWWW! Thanks for that visual!
