Gee.....I thought the Abarth was small.....what was I thinking?
1380cc vs 1400cc
Both are little fun machines but boy are they different.

Very nice set!

A friend who is president of this state's Corvair club bought a FIAT 500 for his wife [she loves it] and he really likes driving it, too. A Bugeye makes the FIAT look big .

The Abarth 500 has 160 hp and 170 lbs torque and is turbo'ed.
The Sprite has a far superior throttle response and my sc/cr box
makes staying up in the power band much easier.
I'd guess the Sprite would take it on a twisty track but straight line
acceleration in the Fiat is awesome. Great brakes too.
The Abarth comes with a track day instruction that I may use.
I haven't flogged a fwd since way back when I had a Civic.
I need instruction before I slide her off into the weeds.
:cool-new:

Hi There David,

Hey; Is your computer down? Phone turned off? Vacationing in Maui?

I`m glad to hear your "Alive & Well"!! "HAPPY NEW YEAR".

I guess the "Yellow" Fiat I saw the other wk. was`nt yours. Looks pretty cool anyway.

I really need to get a ride in that thing / Drive that Italian Coupe!!

Best Regards,

Russ

Holidays pal. Home for the weekend. Give me a ring. My wife's cousin took it for a spin.
I made him floor it. I think it scared him. The look on his face when I opined that my
Sprite was a bit faster was priceless.
