MGB Vent pipes in Booot [Trunk]

I have two 1/4" vent pipes in the boot of my 1970 MK2 MGB. I know one is connected to the electronic fuel pump but does anyone know where the other goes?

They hook up to the fuel tank vent canister. One line on top goes to the charcoal canister in the engine compartment and the bottom one goes to a fitting on top of the fuel tank. It's designed to burn off the vapors in the tank rather than vent into the air. Neither of these lines hook up to the fuel pump! Contrary to some beliefs, it does NOTHING for decreasing the hp of the engine! People who also believe the air pump on these engines rob power are miss informed, (to put it lightly)! PJ

Post any photos of your car you want. Cars come in various stages of wear and that shouldn't be cause to not show your car off. Photos give other owners solutions to repair problems and how to repair them in most cases, plus other ideas. You are preserving a piece of automotive history, so be proud of what you have.
