TR4/4A Handbrake bracket

Does anyone have easy access to snap a pic of their handbrake bracket? I replaced the tunnel section a long time ago, with a used piece if I remember right, and now the handbrake lever doesn't fit the bracket right. The bracket on my car has a box around the bottom, with a curled over piece of metal at the front. All the parts manuals show the same picture for 4A through 6, with just have two ears sticking up for the pivot bolt. I know I have right handbrake lever.

Any help is greatly appreciated. This car is getting close to running, finally....

Thanks much,

Cliff

Aloha Cliff,

I had to pull the interior from my 6 to fix a broken clutch fork pin; still out so easy to get some pix. The handbrake pivot bolt is tricky to get lined up to reinstall; I had to fiddle with it a while to get it back together after cleaning, lubing, etc. I'll send you a PM so the files can be big enough for you to enlarge for details.

Jeff,

Many thanks, that clears up my confusion. The bracket is the same as in your pic, just that curled bit needs to be flattened slightly to get the pawl around it.

I'd have posted a pic but the camera left with my wife.

Best,

Cliff
