Someone definitely has a bit too much time on their hands....but exceptionally well done!

Amazing! Love it. One of the great modern movie sequences (along with others in this film). Thanks.

Just looked at the "making of" video. Wow, was that a LOT of work!

for some reason I was looking for a convertible with Buford T Justice in it

Some members of the Chicagoland MGb Club were hired as extra drivers for the movie. They drove CPD squad cars in the chase scene that were not involved in actual accidents.

That is excellent!

Linda and I will be judges for our NJ state Lego League competition next week (we've been doing it as well as the related FIRST Robotics Competition for years).

I'm going to see if I can download this and bring it!

 That needs DOING, Nial!!

"They broke my watch..."

Excellent.... Am I the only one not to have seen the movie?

There are more cars destroyed in The Blues Brothers than ANY other film I've seen.
Great, classic, musical/show tunes in it (with Aretha Franklin and others). WAY over the top, but so much fun.

it actually held the record for destroyed cars for a very long time. IIRC a GI Joe movie now has the honours.

Blues Brothers is definitely one of my faves. It's one of those movies where you eventually know every line.

"Oh yes, we have both styles: Country and Western"
