Slapout in the middle of nowhere and slap out of everything at the local store. A really neat community on a beautiful lake in central AL. Reminds me a lot of Pine River Pond in NH...great place.

yes, there are a few bars in the area, but nothing like Poor Peoples Pub in Sanbornville!

I learned to water ski on Pine River Pond towed behind a ski boat powered by a Mercury V8 and a driver powered by 12 oz glasses of Jim Beam! Yee Haw!
