i hear there is a pin hole to push in and the nob pops of... where is this nob? the Bentley manual has so far been keeping any information on this switch hidden from me.

on the black nob is a small hole. you push down and can slide the panel dimmer off its switch. pretty simple once you know what to do nd where to look. here i was jamming a nail in to the small hole on the back of the switch

no shame here ill post my mistakes :beaten: hopefully some one will learn from them.

That's the spirit! Posted many an error myself -- the learning process isn't pretty but we're all friendly here.

If there were a "tickle" emoticon I'd have used it. My ~lol~ was not meant as derision, Will. More like a BTDT.

no worries Doc. one needs thick skin in life, cant go around gettin hurt over everything. knowing what i know now and seeing myself pushing that nail in the back... its pretty funny to watch in m y head.

I can't tell you the number of times I wished I had an "Undo" button for real life... spend a few minutes/hours working in what you know is the right direction only to discover you were wrong. It's all you can do to laugh a bit and press on.
