The multitude of "holiday tree lights" on the ceiling are a rather Israeli thing, I never saw that in the US! Totally cracks me up when people use those light strings which play tinny computerized versions of Jingle bells...
 
Looks like just about every dining room in every small cafe' in southern Switzerland!

First time I went to Europe (1967) I remember seeing "Gloria In Excelsis" in rotating neon lights on a thousand year old stone church bell tower. Cracked me up too!

Can't tell for sure from the picture, but given today's date... SUKKOT!
 
I think the draped walls and natural ceiling are waiting for the missing etrog!

YEP, Tonight is the beginning of the Sukkot holiday. My favorite holiday:encouragement: For the next week we will be enjoying all of our meals and basically living in our little hut on the patio.

The missing palm fronds (lulav) and Etrog are in the house, I don't think that the heat outside will do them any good.

Never saw lights in a sukkah here in the US either, Yiz. Enjoy!
