can anyone recommend a source for the firewall grommets for the heater hoses? thanks
 
Do you have the modern replacement heater hose which is fatter than the original? I don't think there is a grommet of the correct size available but you can open up the generic replacement ones with a sanding roll tool in a drill/dremel. Any of the usual suspects will carry the grommets, get some extras to practice on. Andy.
 
My local Ace Hardware had a surprising grommet selection on hand when I was there recently. Look in the electrical department rather than the fastener department. Some of the grommets even looked like the large opening type that the heater hoses go through. Griz.

BCS, British Car Specialist has two grommet kits. I'm not sure if all of the grommets you need are in the kits but John in their Parts Dept. can help you out.
