As I get closer to finishing my project more ideas enter my head. As you know many of the road racers are now spraying their cars with Plasti Dip. It is fast, temporary (can be removed like vinyl) and cheap. Historically many of the Speedwell Sprites were dipped or striped. So here is my bonnet

Kind of bland, but will get better with trimming.

So what would you do and what color/colour would you chose? I am kind od thing that gulf orange or white would look pretty cool!

I saw that car and thought it really looked great! The difficulty with it is that thin dark blue line along the edge is going to make it more difficult to paint.

A pretty good discussion on Car Stuff I-Tunes Broadcast on Feb 19 that is free to download re. dipping your car.

There is a dipyourcar.com website.

I bet you could do the dark blue line with pinstripe tape.

That would be easiest but shooting it blue shouldn't be too hard. Blue first, mask the stripe you want, then shoot the orange-mask that off then shoot light blue. Would have to cure first of course.
