US Championship Winning Healey Coming to Auction

I know there's a few of you out there who are tried on sitting on the sideline, here's your chance to get are big Healey racer with winning history. The 1957 Allan Barker car is coming to auction, and I don't think many people know it's history. This could be a steal for someone.

Nice car with lots of period racing history. Are the photos of the car as it is now or as it was then? Does it still race?

Dougie, I thought the name rang a bell. Here is a photo of Allan Barker racing with Norm Perkins at Mid Ohio in 1965. Barker was SCCA champion that year. Barker is in car number 8. Last I heard, Norm Perkins son had inherited the white car and was restoring it to period race condition.

That's correct Barry Perkins is restoring his dad's car and he is a member of this BCF. I correspond with him often and plan to meet up with him and his completed car next year at Road American. Here are some recent photos of the Allan Barker Healey Barry took last year at the spring event in Elkhart Lake, WI.
