Anyone here using the new Chromecast device?
I am thinking of getting on for my daughter but would love some feedback from anyone that might be using one... It just came out so I may be a little early asking for reviews.

Edit: I see that this can stream a webpage but only from the chrome browser... not a fan of chrome because of their data gathering.

Google chrome designed with the NSA's latest needs in mind.

 Watch it Walt... someone may be listening.

They are busy flying over Doc right now.

Couple of things didn't see.
Range?
HD?
Do both devices have to be on the same network?

The device plugs into the HDMI port so I'll "assume" its HD compatible...
Range and net work: The signal is not coming from the computer but through the network so I guess range would depend on how good your router is.
Once it starts to stream the video, you can switch over to doing other things on your computer and still be streaming the video.
