nice stance - but a lot of work! I am always nervous when I don't know how skilled the mechanic who did the work was.
 
trouble is JP they are a royal pain to get out of when they are that low(even with airbags)

not at all - I like lots of different styles and have a soft spot for lowered cars. (not sure that I would necessarily want or make one but think they are cool) I particularly appreciate European - old Benz, VW, Audi, BMW - modern not so much, but there is a whole lot of creativity out there....

Ya just can't lower a car with swing axles that much. Check the camber of the rear wheels.

:iagree: Tire wear ~and~ efficacy gone fer a chop! Not to mention all the exhaust repairs due to speed bumps/manhole covers/road debris.
 
Swing axles in a MB. Geez. Had a 319...only made the stupid thing a couple of years....six months max on rear tyres. POS, and I won't own a MB ever again.
The camber on the front tyres makes it look like the springs were chopped/torched. Takes a lot of rework to get the camber right once you drop them.
New spindles, repositioned control arms.
Your range of travel is generally gone...they take your fillings out on some roads.
I have one vehicle lowered in the front. Custom work, Mustang II set to height with stock springs as part of the setup, so normal ride is retained.
Seen too many "let's just heat the springs a bit" lowering jobs. Not even gonna look at the build log.

I dunno. I know it kills the tire life, but I just love the look of an old swing arm Beetle dropped to the pavement. Those back tires just a leanin' in, looks cool. That MB is kinda cool. Not fond of that green.

Kinda like the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile. Looks kewl, but slightly impractical for everyday use.

I actually saw the weiner mobile a couple weeks ago driving around.
 
Try to drive that sucker into your garage. Then, once the damage is repaired, try to back it into a parallel parking spot.
Impractical for everyday use.
Especially Doc.

In terms of the Oscar Mobile - yes, that one looks bigger. will have to dig out my pics - spotted one broken down by the side of the road years ago - it was built on a Chevy mini van - if you look at the wheels on that one it looks like duallies on the back
