Wedge Tr8 on local craigs list

Pretty sure the same car was for sale less than a year ago for $2500. Lots of cheap nice restored tr8 verts for sale right now, but the coupes are few and far between.

You've got time on your hands Randy
Let's test this theory!

Aw Come on
I'll toss in the C note and we'll split it 40/60.

For as "rare" as the ads for these always seem to proclaim, there sure are a lot of TR8 coupes (or prototype coupes, as they're often called in ads) in the Pacific Northwest. I can remember at least three or four in recent years.

They are very rare. No more than 400 TR8 coupes were made. Total production numbers are sketchy. Some early cars were revinned to later production cars, so some may even be counted twice. At the very most, 250 still exist. Any time a TR8 coupe pops up, it's cause for celebration. As far as finding concentrated pockets of these, I would assume only certain dealerships were actively trying to acquire and sell these things. So many of them can be traced back to some sort of racing team, team owner, team mechanic, etc.
