Hello, I'm new here.( I also posted in the new member section)
I own a 65 Spitfire. Yesterday I finished fitting a new Robbins soft top. It did not include any instructions, so I found the information on this site very helpful.
It's great to have a place to swap stories with fellow TR owners.

Well welcome aboard. I'm a big fan of the center dash, round tail Spitfires. Next you'll need to post pictures please.

Yes, welcome! I also like the early Spitfires (oh I like all Triumphs but especially the style of the early Spits).

The round tail Spits are definitely my favorite. (I know, I'm biased.) early GT6 and TR4.s are a close second and third.

I'll work on some pictures, I'll have to borrow my brothers digital camera, mine still uses film.
My car is a drivable work in process, darkish green but a shade lighter than traditional BRG. Her name is Tuppence, named after a character in a book I once read.

I've taken more pictures of my car than I can count, but they are all on color slides. I haven't made the switch to digital yet.

Ken,

Hey she is to me! Love the round-tail Spitfires here too. My wife had a 1968 Mk 3 when we were young.

Ken I like your car, the early ones are the best. I'm up in Cedar Rapids so "hi neighbor."

Thank you. I've got a lot of little projects to complete. Maybe this winter I will try to finish some of the body work that was begun by the previous owner.
