MGB Tonneau cover - snaps on cover, twist locks on windshield frame

Country flag
Offline
My 68 B has snaps in the corners of the tonneau cover and twist locks on the windshield frame. Where can I get the parts to make the cover able to use the twist locks?

Side note: I happened across this very topic on "another" forum and asked the very same question. The response was I was completely ignored. I suspected that would happen but hoped for the best. Said response is just further confirmation of why this site and its forums will always be number one in my book.

10-4 on the experience at the other place.

As for the snaps, Moss should be able to supply them.

Moss should have what you need as Mickey said, or you might be able to get them locally -- if you've got a local upholsterer or boat shop they may have the fasteners.

Funny how these cars wind up with different setups -- my '70 has lift-the-dot fasteners all around for the tonneau, other than two snaps behind the doors.

+1 on the upholstery shop - they sold me a handful for cheap

I think I know the site your referring to. I was a member of that site as long as being a member of this one. I only go there to view the T series forum, which has a different group of followers. The MGB series forum has quite a lot of nice people on it, but there's a small group of people on it who have nothing else to do but make nasty comments for their own enjoyment. I don't deal with that. PJ

I like cheese.

Peter,I have dug around and found several new ones. Let me know how many you need and shipping info and I will send it out. My little garage is full of parts that I just can not find when I am hunting them! Bob
