I've got some steel artwork I need to seal but it still needs to look like bare raw steel. Didn't I see mention of something like that in a thread about two months ago? I can't find it.

Never-Wet... https://www.neverwet.com/

I can't verify the finished appearance of the applied product. Commercial production of the product is now being done by Rust-OLeum. One of the DIY superstores (Home Depot) has started to sell it in consumer sized aerosol cans for $20 for the 2 part system. ... base coat and top coat.

New: The product development information for this system indicates that it leaves a "frosty haze" on the surface but that a clear version of the product will be in the future.

Read up on Boeshed T-9. It's pretty expensive but might be what you want. PJ

Too late, this thing needs to be ready to go in the a.m. Here's what I came up with: satin finish polyurethane thinned 300-400% with acetone; aluminum baking pan rolled up to just 3" wide, put the waves from the boat in, poured mixture over the wave, dumped back into mixing bottle, repeat, remove, hang to dry. Worked perfect. The coils are too tight to spray so this was the best method. I gotta have it in Fairhope by 1 pm.
