I have an early 1960 Daimler SP250 (A). I need to strengthen the frame by adding box tubing under the body under the doors and attach them to the outside of the main frame rails. I am looking for drawings, dimenions or pictures. I have looked all over the internet and couldn't find anything. b_close@hotmail.com Mesa, Arizona

I have a b spec SP250 car and recently had to replace one of the boxed beam that runs from the front outrigger to the b post. It is referred to as the sill beam (there are rights and lefts). I bought a replacement from Barry in the UK (a local parts supplier -at the moment forgot his last name). I believe David Manners also has them. Or if you want to cut and re weld the U shaped section at the bottom of the box, my old one is not too bad....you'll spend a little time, but save a little shipping. If you need contact info for Barry PM me or if you want pics or dimensions to make your own, let me know.

I will send you a PM with contact info for Joe Dockman, a neighbor who has 3 SP's, 2 of them are A spec & I think he has upgraded them to B.

Those are tough neighborhood reqs that you have to have an SP to live in it

Must be a small neighborhood
