New Radiator

I just got a new VictoriaBritish catalog. They list a cross flow radiator 1967-74, part #12-002 For $179.00. At this price I could get radiator, hoses, and a new water pump for the same price as one of the nice aluminum radiators. This sounds like a great deal, Has anyone used one of these? Would you recommend this company and or products. They seem to be a little cheaper than Moss. Nothing against Moss, I have order a lot from them. Just trying to get the best bang for my buck. The company I was working for shut down so I need to make every dollar count. Thanks Willy.

I once bought a crossflow radiator from them and the end tanks were not correctly shaped and I had to modify my expansion tank. Further more, not all water pumps are the same. For just a few dollars more you could get better parts from Peter C at WorldWide. But I understand trying to stretch dollar. You could also try Jeff Zorn at www.lbcarco.com

A good portionm of Ms Triss is VB - though not the rad (which I had re-cored) no problems - most all these companies use the same suppliers - this one a few dollars more, this a few dollars less, depending on the part. I recall when Tony was alive, him talking about a part that actually came from a competitor with a Moss number inside.

Thanks, I found a local shop that said they could re-core it. No price until they get it sized up. So I will see what they say. As far as water pumps go what are the differences?
