Hello all from Boise, Idaho. I drove a 1967 Spitfire while in college 45 years ago and absolutely loved that car! But always wanted a TR4 or 6. So I'm here to dip my toe back into the world of British Cars, specifically TRs, before I find just the right one for me! Thanks in advance to all who will provide advice, I know I'll need a lot of it!

I whet my appetite back in college too - a 1955 Jaguar Mk VII. Very safe for a young driver like me. Parents figured if I were hit by a Greyhound bus, the bus would need help, but not me.
When I retired in 2003, it was BCF that helped me into my "second" British car - an MGB. Sold it after a few years and got my 1959 TR3. Now fumbling around with an old Mercedes-Benz.

Thanks for the welcome, Tom. I enjoyed reading your "Mac & Phyllis Take a Trip" blog! In the "small world" category: while you were a freshman at TCU, I was a junior at A&M. I'm sure I went blasting through Ft. Worth in my Spitfire sometime that year; we probably drove right past each other.
