Some of you who follow the BCF "Racing" sight might remember a BaT ad I posted about a month back for a Healey 100 race car.
I wanted to bring this story full circle. The Healey racer for sale I posted a few weeks back has a new owner and what a story....It even appears, I may have an addition to "Team Healey- PDX" as this car now resides in Oregon. I hope to get him out to the track soon and even into the BCF. https://bringatrailer.com/2013/04/30/...ook-from-1992/ (Reid this would make a great article for the Marque...I'll work on him)

Doug, Really enjoyed your article in this month's Healey Marque (thanks, Reid for editing it in). I raced an MGB in SCCA in 1969 before going to Viet Nam for a year, then again in 1970 and 1971 after returning. I have a 1960 BN7 now, but not racing. Your article brings back fond memories.

Thanks Tim - I think the big Healey is the best looking car on the track or the street for that matter....I enjoy sharing my experiences with all Healey lovers.

Two great Healey articles in one week: Doug's in Healey Marque and now this one. You're going to have to lighten up for a while; I'm not sure I can take all this excitement!

Thanks John, Who'd thought both stories would run on the same month.... If you do find you need a racing "fix", I'll be competing in the Rolex Monterey Historic Reunion at Laguna Seca in August. Stop by the pits if you can make in down.
