Does anybody have and seats or seat frames for a MKIV Sprite in the Portland vicinity?

Thanks in advance

I do and I'd love to get rid of them, but I'm guessing you don't mean Portland, Maine...

Going to cost more to ship from ME than to find a set of comfy Miata Seats. But that takes this thread in a different direction.

Thanks Steve, yes, hoping for something in Portland Oregon and vicinity.

The MKIV would be for the 66 67 only car's? Correct???

Kurt.

Check w/ RickB.
He has the skinny on all parts available in the NW
Also, try Cris Roop in Pendalton.
I also have a set to unload, but they're inn South Florida, probably just as far as ME

Gerard,
If your in SF why the need in Portland?
Anyway I have a set and I'm up in the Sacramento area if that helps..

Herb

Thanks Herb,

Someone in Portland was seemingly seriously interested in the Sprite I have for sale, but complaining about it not having original seats. I have a really nice pair of Miata seats installed. They are way more comfortable than the original and I think they look great, but there are those that prefer originality to driving comfort, so what can I say. The car is exceptional, but someone will always nitpick it anyway.

Since they are rather bulky to ship, I thought I'd see if I could locate something close for him.

Gerard,

A very fine restroation you did with that Sprite. And it served well as the Poster Child for the 50th.
As someone who swapped from original top Miata Seats I second the vote for Miata Seats being much more comfortable than OEM Seats.

Thanks Jim,

I don't know if you've maybe seen it before, but I have a slide show which shows a lot of details of the car, including a short video of the engine running. I'm just hoping I can one day get my Bugeye finished this way too.

Here's a nice shot of it with the Midget grille installed for the photo shoot.
