I have tried to follow earlier posts on this subject, I have sent e-mails to the web site (354gears@gmail.com) on July 01st & 10th, 2012 to indicate my interest and order two sets of gears. I have not received any reply?? ( If you go to the web site it looks as if the last update was 02/01/2011 which advised the cost is $425 for the ring and pinion and shipping within the continental US.) This is the same information that appeared in the MAY 2011 issue of Healey Marque magazine. Can anyone out there tell me if there are (2) Lempert 3.54 gear sets available for purchase??

No idea why, but the Lemperts seem extremely slow to respond to e-mails. I was lucky enough to get in on the first production run about 10 years ago when Mike was doing the project. Best mod I ever did for my BJ8. I understand that a run is only begun when enough pre-orders are received, and I believe they are currently making the delivery on the latest run.
Autofarm in Canada (www.autofarm.net) has some but they may all be spoken for already. Worth checking, though.

MCdonald,

Sometimes Dan Lempert would respond immediately, other times it would take a few days. Either way he always got back to me. I know he made extra sets but don't know how many are left. If you don't hear back in a couple days, I would drop him another e-mail.

Later,
Walt

Just wanted to let you all know that there are still some gear sets available to those who have yet to obtain some who are in need of some. I have placed some on ebay but that was mostly as a form of advertisement- please see www.354gears.com for contact info.

Same guys, so it would be wise to buy through their contact here rather than pay more by going through ebay.

Yes, this is my listing but bumped up the price to account for ebay / paypal fees- I'd prefer to deal directly with customers but like I said, I am trying to get the word out. Please come directly to me 354gears.com for non - ebay elevated price.

Healey Crowd,

We have a few last 3.54 sets left in inventory if any of you are interested in getting your hands on one. They will be sold out very soon so please go to the 354gears.com site to contact should you want to upgrade.

Happy Motoring!

Im going to be restoring a 62 Tri-Carb with side shift gearbox and OD . Will the gearset have the same effect as it did on my 2 BJ8s . both of them have 3.54 gearsets and they made a huge difference to the cruising RPM etc .

Healey Nut,

Yes, you will still get the same effect, you'll get better drivability. I'm glad you are getting good use on 2 sets already! Shoot me an email at 354gears@gmail.com if you want to steal one of the last ones.
