No I don't mean Doc and Mickey
When we sold our house we decided to unload most of our paper back book collection.
We were astounded to see it had grown to almost a 1000 books.
Yikes!.
We kept some of the series and donated the rest.
Now comes the meat of the title.
SWMBO says let's use the library more.
Now in WA the library system was very progressive,ie...no late charges and they wouldn't send you a note about the book unless it was really late.
Here, typical library with late charges and 2 week limits.
I hate librarys.
Found ours had a small rack that was called borrow a book give a book.
Don't need to check it out.
Now we are talking.
So I have been using this. Well every once in a while I finish and need a new book and need a fix so I went into my son's room to see what he had.
I was desperate.
First I found
Red Badge of Courage. Never read that in school.
A good read but very hard to follow the conversation sometimes with the terminology of that period.
Well I just finish another book I never read in school.
Catcher in the Rye.
Now that was a very interesting read and still not quite sure of the ending.
Kind of reminds me of my boy ,though
Sorry for the long diatribe.
