An invasion. Or a RE-invasion.

That's a nice looking Lotus.:smirk:

Yeah, it DOES have some ~passing~ resemblance, huh? :smirk:

Oh my!

Seems Lotus pops up everywhere, Tesla for one. Wasn't the Saturn Sky and that Pontiac built off the Elise frame?

So, what have we learned from this commercial

1. It really belongs in the desert, away from any moisture, lest it rust.
2. It seems to have a particular appeal to trailer trash, cowboys and hookers in abandoned convents.
3. You can take it to the beach but you'll have to leave your kids there 'cause there's no room to bring them home.
4. Considering their heritage, you might as well light a candle (or two) if you want it to be reliable
5. It already has a slow but very persistent exhaust leak.

I admit, I'm not all that excited. Neat to think of Alfa coming back to the USA, but anything they build will be too expensive for my resources.

Drew, anything/everything in that performance category is too expensive, period.

...but it's nice to look at!

Strangely enough, as I get older I'm less interested in the things I can't have -- maybe I'm becoming too pragmatic. Still, it is a pretty thing.

Thanks Bro I needed a laugh.

I'm not a bit envious. I really, really like my SC430 Lexus. Not however as much as I love Agatha and Onslow. Always my favorites with Agatha first then Onslow. Just saying...

I've always wanted one of these. It's on my favorites list and besides it's more in my league than that high priced :greedy_dollars: wind tunnel glob of perfection! PJ
