The ball is ruled dead and the umpire will award any bases or charge any outs that, in his judgment, would have occurred without the interference. There is a fine line between the ruling of fair play and spectator interference

Exactly- Dead ball the second she touched it. Now if I were the ump, I think I would ask her what she thought I should do- Then get a date for dinner.

Three baseball umpires are having lunch together. The first umpire says "Well, a lot of them are balls, and a lot of them are strikes, but I always calls 'em as I sees 'em."
The second umpire says "Hmph. I calls 'em as they are."
The third umpire slowly looks at his two colleagues and declares "They ain't nothin' until I calls 'em."
