Ok, I'll confess I like the song, but the video? Just when you thought Bowie couldn't get any weirder. But still, I like the song.

It's apparently a song about Berlin. References to main public square that was bombed in WWII and where the Berlin wall once separated East/West (Potsdamer Platz), a large department store in the heart of Berlin (Kadewe). The "Dschungle" is a night club. The reference to 20,000 people crossing "Bose Brucke" with fingers crossed is a reference to all the people who escaped (or died trying) from East Berlin to West. Bose Brucke was an East Berlin checkpoint.
