Go to "Settings" then click on attachments and you'll see a bar graph that will show you how much of your space you have used up. You probably aren't even close.

I can't upload any photos, says I'm 2.34MB over, using 17.29MB for 411 files. Many of the files listed are broken links that have a size of 0 bytes. I started to delete the 0 byte files but realized they may actually be orphaned files that are still taking up space on the server somewhere.

Great pics, I really like that street shot - been there several times in warmer times, the two talking businessmen statue is excellent!

Okay, I can post a video but try as I might I can't post a photo. I get the message that upload failed. Help? Please. And yes I've watched the video, several times in fact.

Getting there. Need to learn how to post other than thumbnail. Back to the Video. Thank you Boss.

Go to settings >> Attachments and you can delete old pictures to free up space. Dang you have more pictures on here that I do!

I have been deleting some over the past couple days. What I was getting at is if I delete the broken links in attachments, does that delete the actual file, or just the bad link? Will the files still be taking up server space? If they didn't get imported from the old software then deleting the link shouldn't leave the files out in limbo.

All of your attachments should have been brought over from the old forum. Deleting links in posts to bad files doesn't delete the file. You need to go to "Settings >> attachments" where you can view all your attachments (just click on them to open) and you can delete them by checking the checkbox next to each one you want to delete, then at the bottom you can select to delete the checked files. Not sure about deleting bad links in the attachments lists.

I don't think all of them did.

I've only been deleting file in settings>attachments.
Here is a shot of my attachments page. When I click on one of the files with a size of 0 bytes I get the following message: The image "https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/attachment.php?attachmentid=440&d=1167465612" cannot be displayed because it contains errors.

Very nice photos James. Let me see if I can figure out this photo posting bit.

How do I make the above photo large?

click on it

When you add the pic, double click on it and a window pops up .
Pick a size and hit OK
It is in the Oscar winning vid the boss did at the top of this page

OK, trying the double-click on the image in the message (when creating it) to see if it comes in already enlarged.

EDIT: Tried and there is no ability, here, to double-click on it (in Advanced mode) to automatically enlarge... so I deleted the image.

Thanks Basil... That venue has some of the best stage lighting in town, always a treat to photograph there...
